Swisher ZT2350 50-Inch 23 HP Zero-Turn Radius Tractor
Have you ever been tired of using your old mower which you had to push around the yard for the whole day, watch for the cable so you don’t accidentally mow it and in the end you still had to do it after a week of good weather conditions. Maybe it is the best time to consider getting a better tractor, with no cables, and no pushing around. One of the most valued tractors it the Swisher ZT2350 available for $3,660, which probably will save you a lot of precious time.
ZT2350 has a 50 inch cutting deck which “eats” more grass than almost any other tractor at this price. Using such mower one could mow one acre of yard in about 30-40 minutes. The cutting deck is made out of solid welded steel unlike some other riding mowers which have a thinner steal, making the tractor more vulnerable in case of a collision with e.g. a house (can happen, really!).
The engine of ZT2350 is made by Briggs & Stratton extended life series, it is louder than other manufacturers ones but it has a lot of power and starts almost anytime. The two Eaton commercial-grade pumps make this Swisher model move at around 5 MPH which is a good compromise between the quality of grass cutting and the speed of the whole mowing process.
As for the disadvantages, bear in mind that Zero-Turn Radius tractors have problem with driving on the side of the hill, especially on a wet grass, one can very quickly slide from the top of the hill to the bottom, so watch out for this.
